When the City of Cleveland secured a Department of Justice (DOJ) grant for the Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention (CVI) initiative, Wayne Henry Design was commissioned to transform high-level policy into a resonant community brand: Cleveland Thrive. Strategy: Using a public health-centered strategy, we bridged municipal government and local neighborhoods. Deliverables included a comprehensive visual identity, a 100-page "Report for the Record," a custom website, social media componets, and community merchandise designed to foster pride and long-term engagement.

Wayne Henry Design led the creative strategy for GCLEABJ at the NABJ 2025 Convention. Serving as the vital link between internal stakeholders and external agencies, we ensured brand integrity across every touchpoint—from sponsorship packaging to motion graphics. Tasked with engaging 3,900+ media professionals, we delivered high-impact "conversion engines," integrating social campaigns and marketing automation to drive ticket sales for premier events at venues like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The overall goal was to bring sponsors to support GCLEABJ events and intise out-of-town attendees to buy ticket to these events while in Cleveland. The outcome was a succes on both goals.
